POMONA, NJ – Junior Natascha Alves (Brasilia, Brazil/Colegio Militar de Brascilia) paced the Scarlet Raiders at the New Jersey Athletic Conference women's cross country championships hosted by Richard Stockton College, finishing 27th in a field of 41, with a season-best time of 28:18.69 in the 6-kilometer.

Fellow junior Cierra Farquharson (Abescon, NJ/Pleasantville) placed 33rd with a time of 29:38.17, while freshman Selamawit Rutty (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) crossed the tape with a career-best time of 32:47.27.

Sophomore Deja Jones (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) rounded out the field of Rutgers-Newark harriers, with a time of 45:06.92.
