PITMAN, NJ – Rutgers-Newark senior forward Courtney Vacca has been named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team which was released by commissioner Terry Small today.

Vacca, who averaged a double-double with 13.6 points and a conference leading 11.1 rebounds per game, was selected by the NJAC's 10 head coaches as a second team member. It was her first year on the honorary squad.

Rutgers-Newark's 2009 NJAIAW Woman of the Year, Vacca posted a school-record 15 double-doubles on the year while hitting 45.2% of her field goals and 64.7% of her free throws.

The CoSIDA Academic All-America nominee also was second on the Scarlet Raider team with 47 assists, 37 steals and 16 blocked shots.
