HOBOKEN, NJ – To take the monotony out of pre-season softball workouts, Rutgers-Newark head coach Patty Clarke took her squad to the CKO Grand Kickboxing Gym for a true break in the action.
The Scarlet Raiders went through a grueling workout which included hitting and kicking the heavy bags as well as strength and agility drills.

Rutgers-Newark begins play on March 13 at the Rebel Spring Games in Orlando, Florida.
