Kevon Brown has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Track & Field Rookie of the Week for his performance in the New Balance Invitational.

On Friday, he lowered his own school mark in the 60-meter hurdles to 8.65 seconds, finishing 16th in a field of 32 competitors who mostly represented NCAA Division I institutions. He was second among NCAA Division III finishers in the race.
On Saturday, Brown anchored the Scarlet Raiders' 4 x 200-meter relay quartet which qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships with a school-record time of 1:32.22. He joined senior
