Kevon Brown has been named the
New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week for his performance at the Danny Curran Invitational.

The rookie qualified for the ECAC Outdoor Championships in his first collegiate try at the 110-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 15.57 to finish third in a highly-competitive field of 27 runners. It was also an automatic school record because it marked the first time that the event had been run by a Scarlet Raider runner in the 3-year history of the program.
Brown also anchored the Raider's 4 x 100-meter relay team which notched a time of 44.49 to finish third in a field of 21 teams. He capped his day by running the second leg on the 4 x 400-meter relay unit which posted a time a 3:34.85.
