PITMAN, NJ – Rutgers-Newark's Kevon Brown has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

The rookie lowered his R-N record in the 110-meter hurdles twice at the Ramapo College Invitational on Saturday, clocking a 15.27 in the preliminaries before notching a 15.24 to take third in the finals of the event.

Brown also posted a time of 11.54 in the 100-meter dash and anchored the Scarlet Raiders' 4 x 100-meter relay unit which recorded a time of 44.43.
