DOVER, DE – The Rutgers-Newark 4 x 100-meter relay team ran a school-record time of 44.07 to highlight the Scarlet Raiders' performance in the Delaware State Invitational.

Nnaemeka Ibeh, Kevon Brown, Shariff Stubbs and Justin Booker teamed to post a time of 44.07, shaving .36 off the R-N mark to place third in the event. 

Sophomore Tauqeer Qazi lowered his personal best to 1:57.01 in the 800-meter run, finishing 11th in a field of 19. 

Sophomore Joshua Stinson finished third in the javelin, bettering his school record in the event with a best effort of 44.35 meters. 

Senior Robert Ezewuiro took second in the 5000-meter run in a time of 17:00.67. 

Rutgers-Newark will compete in its third New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship meet on Saturday at the College of New Jersey.
