Zornig, Keller Rank High In NCAA Final Stats

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Rutgers-Newark's Jeff Zornig and Jon Keller are each ranked among the national leaders in two categories in the final 2010 NCAA Division I men's volleyball statistics.

Zornig, a junior setter, ranked second nationally in service aces per set with an average of .54 to help the Scarlet Raiders rank fifth as a team with an average of 1.61 aces per set. He also ranked 22nd in D-I in assist average, dishing out an average of 11.23 assists per set.

Keller, a senior middle hitter, ranked in the top 10 in two categories. He was sixth in blocks per set with a 1.46 average to boost the Raiders to 10th in the nation as a team with a norm of 2.88 per frame. Keller also ranked ninth in hitting percentage at .419 (231 kills, 56 errors, 418 attacks).

Rutgers-Newark (13-13) claimed the EIVA Hay title with an 8-0 record before bowing out in the EIVA Championship quarterfinals.
