CENTERVILLE, MA – Rutgers-Newark's Joe Furnaguera and Patrick Reitemeyer closed out a long list of post-season honors by being named to the 2010 All-ECAC Metro Baseball Team. Nine of the team's 12 members came from New Jersey Athletic Conference schools.

Furnaguera, a senior third baseman, and Reitemeyer, a junior shortstop, were each previously selected to the All-NJAC first team. Furnaguera was a second team ABCA All-Mid-Atlantic Regional selection while Reitemeyer was named to the third team.

The duo helped the Scarlet Raiders to a 22-21 overall record which included a third-place finish in the NJAC regular-season race.
