NEWARK, NJ – Summer camps for basketball, soccer and tennis will be offered at Rutgers-Newark beginning in July!

2010 RUTGERS-NEWARK SUMMER CAMPS (Registration Flyers)

There will be three sessions of the Scarlet Raider Basketball Camp with the opening 5-day clinic beginning on July 12. Directed by Rutgers-Newark head men's basketball coach Joe Loughran, the camp has operated a capacity for the past several years.

In soccer, there are two camps offered: The Rutgers-Newark Finishing and Goalkeeping Camp and B'Elite Development Soccer Day Camp.

Under direction of Scarlet Raider head men's soccer coach Kevin East, the Finishing and Goalkeeping Camp focuses on high school boys. It will be conducted on Alumni Field on the Rutgers-Newark campus from August 2 through 6.

Under the direction of new R-N women's head soccer coach Bill Bustamante, the B'Elite Player Development Soccer Day Camp is open to boys and girls ages six through 14 on Alumni Field. The five-day session begins on July 19.

The Rutgers-Newark Summer Youth Tennis Camp, directed by Scarlet Raider head men's tennis coach Kenneth Graham, is open to boys and girls ages six through 17. Held on The Golden Dome Courts, the comprehensive clinic will be conducted July 19 through 23.
