Men's Basketball Highlights

NEWARK, N.J. (February 22, 2016) – CALLING ALL STUDENTS! Rutgers University-Newark will offer free fan buses down to Stockton University for the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night.
 
Sign up is at The Golden Dome Athletic Center front desk and is free for all students – including entrance to Wednesday night's 7 p.m. game. The deadline to sign up is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23.
 
The buses will depart from in front of The Golden Dome at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and will leave Stockton to head back to Newark 20 minutes after the final buzzer sounds.
 
Behind 18 points and six rebounds from senior forward Jordan McDaniel and a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double from senior guard John Snow, the Scarlet Raiders rolled over William Paterson University and into the conference semis Saturday night in front of a raucous home crowd.
 
Rutgers-Newark is urging all Scarlet Raider fans able to make the trip to do so in support of the men's basketball team as they look for their 21st win of the season and their first berth in the NJAC title game since 2012-13.
