NJAC All-Conference Release

NEWARK, N.J. (February 23, 2017) – The Rutgers University-Newark Department of Athletics will be offering a FREE Fan Bus on Saturday for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship game.
 
The bus will depart from The Golden Dome Athletic Center for Montclair State University at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, and will return to Newark 30 minutes after the game between the Scarlet Raiders and Red Hawks ends. The ride to the game and admission to the Panzer Athletic Center is completely FREE for anyone with a Rutgers-Newark ID.

Sixth-seeded Rutgers-Newark defeated third-seeded Stockton University and second-seeded Kean en route to a berth in the conference final against Montclair State. The Scarlet Raiders have won six of their last eight games, including three-straight win-or-go-home contests. They are the first-ever No. 6 seed to reach the final of the NJAC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
