Holds Rutgers-Newark records – both indoor and outdoor – for all distances up to 400 meters... key member of Scarlet Raiders’ 4 x 800-meter relay team which claimed the program’s first New Jersey Athletic Conference championship... first R-N track athlete to win an individual race... first R-N track athlete to qualify for the ECAC Indoor Championships. 

SENIOR (2009-10): Ran in one cross country meet.

JUNIOR (2008-09): All-NJAC Indoor Track & Field first team as a member of the school-record 4 x 800-meter relay team which won the conference meet with a time of 8:01.26 (2/23/2009)... INDOOR T&F: In the 400, he ran a 50.02 at the NYU Fastrack Invitational (1/9/2009) and a 50.05 at teh Great Dane Classic (1/23/2009)... lead-off runner on 4 x 400-meter relay team that posted a best of 3:28.43 at the Great Dane Classic (1/23/2009)… OUTDOOR T&F: Clocked a school-record 49.23 in the 400 at the Lions Invitational (4/25/2009) where he also ran a season-best 22.25 in the 200... posted a 49.60 at the Rowan Open (4/10/2009) and a 49.61 at the ECAC Outdoor Championships (45/14/2009)... CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in one meet. 

SOPHOMORE (2007-08): The 2007-08 Rutgers-Newark Male Athlete of the Year following his first year of collegiate competition... honored as NJAC Male Indoor Track Athlete of Week once and named the NJAC Male Indoor Track Rookie of the Week three times as a member of the inaugural Rutgers-Newark team... set school records for the 55-meter, 60-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter dashes indoors while posting record times outdoors for the 100, 200 and 400... qualified for the ECAC Championships indoors and outdoors for the 200 and 400... INDOOR T&F: Ran three sub-50 second 400s, paced by a school- record 49.50 clocking at the NYU Fastrack Invitational at the NYC Armory (2/29/2008)... posted five sub-23 second 200s, highlighted by a school-record 22.36 clocking in the Rider-Lafayette Winter Games in the Armory (2/15/2008)... set R-N record in the 55-meter dash at the Great Dane Classic (1/25/2008), clocking a 6.63 time in his only effort at that distance... ran a 7.06 60-meter school-record time in the Gotham Cup (1/18/2008)... was the lead-off runner in 4 x 400-meter relay team that posted a school-record 3.27.81 time at the NYU Fastrack Invitational (2/29/2008)… OUTDOOR T&F: Took first in the 400 at the Mid-Atlantic Championships at Misericordia (4/10/2008) with a then school record of 49.80... finish third in a field of 47 runners in the 200 at the Penn Invitational (4/5/2008) with a school-record, ECAC qualifying time of 21.89... also finished third in a field of 38 in the 100 at the Penn Invitational (4/5/2008) with an school-record, ECAC qualifying time of 11.05... also ran a 49.81 time in the 400 at the NJAC Championships... led off school-record 3:24.81 time by 4 x 400-meter relay team at the Penn Invitational (4/5/2008)... CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in two meets. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman in track at Colonia HS, posting school records in both the 400-meter and 100-meter dashes... also lettered in football for the Patriots... four-year honor roll student. 

PERSONAL: Was already enrolled at Rutgers-Newark when track & field was introduced in the fall of 2007... walked on to lead the squad... older brother, Chinedu, was starting center on Scarlet Raider men’s basketball team (2002-06)... majoring in biology with an interest in pre-med and clinic lab sciences... born in the Bronx.
