PHILADELPHIA, PA – Rutgers-Newark's 4 x 200-meter relay team clipped over 13 seconds off the school record to highlight the Scarlet Raiders' showing in the Penn Relays on Franklin Field.

Nnaemeka Ibeh and
Justin Booker joined freshmen
Corey Graves and
Kevon Brown to run a 1:31.13 time in the 4 x 200-meter relay – placing 56th in a field of 69.

Shariff Stubbs posted a time of 3:28.78 to place 68th in the highly-competitive field of 81 teams in the 4 x 400-meter relay.
The men's 4 x 100-meter relay team failed to finish after a baton drop on the anchor leg handoff.
On the women's side,
Saymah Nah,
Kristen Venning,
Cierra Farquharson and
Kenitra Washington ran a 1:49.55 in their first attempt at the race this season.
Rutgers-Newark will compete in the Lions Invitational at The College of New Jersey on Saturday.
