Visiting Team Information
ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM LOCATION & SERVICES
The Athletic Training Room (ATR) is located on the lower level of The Golden Dome Athletic Center at 42 Warren Street. Front desk personnel or other Rutgers-Newark employees can direct you to the training room.
The following are services that are available for visiting student-athletes on game days at Rutgers-Newark:
1. Ice bags and Ice cups
2. Moist heat packs
3. Warm and Cold Whirlpools
4. Ultrasound
5. Electrical Stimulation
6. Athletic Taping and Wrapping
** Electrical Stimulation and Ultrasound treatments will only be performed if orders are received by the visiting team’s Certified Athletic Trainer which must contain a detailed description of all parameters.
Please contact the Athletic Training Room office at (973) 353-5116 if your team will be traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer.
In addition, all teams traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer should bring with them a medical kit, emergency medical information, and specific orders for treatment assigned by the Certified Athletic Trainer.
