POMONA, NJ – Rutgers-Newark sophomore outside hitters Sagan Caldwell (Romona, CA/Romona HS) and Rose Anna Beljour (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) had six kills apiece, but Richard Stockton rolled to a 3-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference women's volleyball win in the RSC Sports Center. Game scores were 30-9, 30-18, 30-16.

Beljour also added a match-high eight digs for the Scarlet Raiders (1-15, NJAC 0-5) who received seven digs and three service aces from freshman libero Val Dauti (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) against the Ospreys (10-13, NJAC 5-1). Junior setter Nazly Hasanizadeh (Katy, TX/Alief Hastings) registered eight assists.
It was the seventh straight loss for the Raiders while Richard Stockton snapped out of a two-match skid which included its first NJAC loss of the season at New Jersey City on Tuesday.
Audrey O'Donnell paced a balanced Osprey attack with 10 kills while Amanda Burhart added eight kills and three of RSC's 10 service aces.
Rutgers-Newark plays host John Jay and Merchant Marine in a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. before returning to NJAC action in The Golden Dome on Tuesday against Montclair State.
