The department reports and publicizes on all 14 of Rutgers University-Newark's varsity sports.

Media Information

All requests for interviews with Rutgers University-Newark student-athletes and Athletics staff members must first be submitted to the Office of Athletic Communications. This policy applies for both members of the working media, as well as for requests in regards to educational (class) projects. A mutually convenient time for both parties will be arranged by a member of the staff.

Interview requests must be submitted to the Office of Athletic Communications staff at least 48 hours in advance, except for the case of post-event reaction for home events. Media members who wish to cover an Athletics home event should notify the the office at least 48 hours in advance, three days for all broadcasts.

In addition, all Rutgers University-Newark athletic logos and digital images are to be used for official use only. If you would like to obtain those images, a written request must be submitted and include reason or use for those materials.

Photography/Videography Credentials

Only credentialed photographers will be granted field or court access at Rutgers University-Newark athletic events.  Please request a pass at least 48 hours prior to the date of competition. Credentials can be picked up at the ticket booth no earlier than one hour prior to the event and must be visible at all times.
