NEWARK, NJ – Sophomores Rose Anna Beljour (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) and Sagan Caldwell (Ramona, CA/Ramona) tallied five kills and two aces apiece while freshman middle blocker Crystal Navarro (Passaic, NJ/Passaic) chipped in five kills and one service ace but Kean earned a 3-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference women's volleyball win over Rutgers-Newark in The Golden Dome.

Beljour and Caldwell had nine and eight digs, respectively, but the team leader was freshman libero Jen Ompod (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) with 12.  
Junior setter Nazly Hasanizadeh (Katy, TX/Alief Hastings) posted 15 assists and five digs. 
Kean senior outside hitter Alicja Ciastoch (Teaneck, NJ/Immaculate Conception HS) had matchhighs of 19 kills, 13 aces and 14 digs to lead 
The Cougars (3-7, NJAC 1-2) got 17 kills and 11 digs from freshman outside hitter Nicole Bolash (Clinton, NJ/Voorhees) plus 40 assists and four aces from freshman setter Ivana Kapetanovic (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick). Kean delivered 30 service aces with sophomore middle blocker Gina Batista (Newark, NJ/North 13th Tech) notching six. 
The Raiders (0-6, NJAC 0-2) play at Hunter on Saturday at 11 a.m. while Kean hosts Rowan in an NJAC contest on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
