Caseres would put the Scarlet Raiders up two, with her 13th marker of the season heading in freshman

Caseres capped off scoring with a goal in the 83rd minute, blasting a penalty kick past the Panthers'
Deborah Ciccarelli. The freshman, who now has 14 markers this season, stands just one goal shy of the Scarlet Raiders' all-time, single-season mark of 15, set in 2000 by Erin Finn.
Rutgers-Newark held a decisive 28-6 shots advantage thanks in part to another stellar performance from the Scarlet Raiders' backline, which held Old Westbury to just one shot on goal. Rutgers-Newark has allowed just one goal or less in ten of its 13 games this season.
The Scarlet Raiders return to the pitch on Sunday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. against Juniata.
