The Scarlet Raiders (1-16, NJAC 1-4) hit .200 in frame two, posting five kills with just two errors in event the contest, but the Cougars (6-10, NJAC 1-3) fended off charges in the third and fourth sets to claim the victory.
Junior outside hitter Rose Anna Beljour (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) posted a team-high nine digs and added three kills and two aces while junior setter Christina Francisco (West Orange, NJ/West Orange notched nine assists.
Jamie Sacco led Kean with 11 kills, nine digs and six aces while setter Yesena Velasquez added 27 assists and four aces.
