NEWARK, NJ – FDU-Florham swept doubles play to register a 6-3 win over Rutgers-Newark on The Golden Dome Courts.

Seniors Matt Milwicz and Baris Sonmez and freshman Priyen Patel took singles victories as the teams split individual play, but the Devils (10-5) dominated the three doubles matches. The Scarlet Raiders are now 4-4.

Milwicz rolled to a 6-0, 6-3 win over FDU's John Gaw on the No. 3 singles court while Sonmez out-played Kevin Ly, 6-0, 6-1 on the fifth flight. Patel split sets with the Devils' Andrew Scamporino, 7-5, 4-6 before winning the pro-set third frame 10-6.

Rutgers-Newark hosts CCNY at noon on The Golden Dome Courts.
