MAHWAH, N.J. (December 6, 2017) – The Rutgers University-Newark women's basketball team trimmed an 18-point second-half deficit to one point with 17 seconds left but could not get over the hump in a 55-52 New Jersey Athletic Conference loss at Ramapo College Wednesday night.

After a Raider score and Ramapo foul shot made it 52-47 with 44 ticks remaining, junior guard
