NEWARK, N.J. | The men's tennis squad picked up their third win, second consecutive, of the season with a 7-0 win over York College. A late rain storm forced the match to end prematurely, however, the Scarlet Raiders had already clinched victory.
The Scarlet Raiders swept doubles play with
Vihang Patel and
Shridhar Amin winning by the largest margin, 8-0. On court two of doubles the duo of
Richard Nguyen and
Veer Kachhiapatel knocked of their opponents 8-1 before
Sebastian Narath and
Alan Yu took care of business on court one, 8-2.
When play switched to singles, the Scarlet Raiders quickly disposed of their opponents. Three of the matches finished 8-0 with the other match finishing 8-1 all in Rutgers University-Newark's favor.
