NEWARK, N.J.  - The Rutgers University-Newark Department of Athletics hosted its annual golf outing at the gorgeous Heron Glen Golf Club in Ringoes, N.J. on Monday. The event was a rousing success thanks to the great support of those that golfed and those that sponsored the event. It also did not hurt that the weather was great and the staff at Heron Glen was even better!

Funds raised from the event will go directly back to the 225-plus student-athletes at Rutgers-Newark in the form of equipment, facility upgrades, travel and more. 

Congrats to the group of Steven Yanosh, Mark Hovaniak, and Michael Stroganoff who came in first with a score of -10 (below par, 62 overall). Baseball Alums, Tommy Scanlon, Dom Magliaro, Luke Magliaro, and Kevin Tamsula  came in second also with a score of -10 and 62 overall.
