PROFILE OF THE WEEK (March 21, 2012)

SENIOR (2013): NFCA All-East third team selection... All-NJAC second team... started in all 38 games as the third baseman… hit .422 with 46 hits, 12 RBI and 20 runs scored… stroked nine doubles and two home runs to finish with a .560 slugging percentage… walked 14 times to post a .492 on base percentage… made 13 errors out of 133 chances… had 84 assists… went three for five with one double, an RBI,  a run scored, a walk and a stolen base in a 12-11 loss against New Jersey City (4/13/13)… went two for three with one double  and a run scored in an 11-2 loss against Ramapo (4/16/13)… went two for four with a double and an RBI in a 6-2 win against Baruch (4/21/13)… went one for three with a double, two RBIs and scored once in a 12-7 loss against TCNJ (4/23/13)… went three for four with three RBI, three runs scored and one homer in a 13-1 win over St. Elizabeth (4/25/13).

JUNIOR (2012): All-NJAC second team after starting in all 29 games at third base for the 16-23 Raiders… led squad in batting average (.361), RBIs (25), doubles (10), walks (18), on base percentage (.458) and stolen bases (7) while ranking second on the team in hits (39), runs (25) and slugging percentage (.454)… ranked eighth in batting average and fourth in on-base percentage among all NJAC players… second on the squad with 86 fielding assists… hit safely in 26 games with 10 multiple-hit efforts… went four for four with an RBI double and three runs scored in a 10-9 win over Baruch (4/26/12)… delivered a game-winning 2-out, 2-run single in the top of the seventh in a 4-3 win over DeSales (3/25/12) after stroking a 2-out RBI double in the fifth… went two for three with an RBI, a double, a run scored and a sacrifice bunt in a 7-1 win over Ramapo (4/21/12)… infield grounder delivered the first Raider run in a 2-1 win over William Paterson (4/14/12)… ripped a 2-out, 3-run game-winning double in the fifth inning to lift Raiders to a 5-2 win over Swarthmore (3/24/12)… went three for three with two RBIs, a double and a run scored in a 14-3 win over Mount St. Vincent (3/21/12)… went two for three and scored three times in a 7-4 win over Washington College (3/2/12)… stroked a 2-out, 2-run single through the middle in the fifth inning to lift Raiders to a 4-3 win over Wesleyan (3/15/12).

SOPHOMORE (2011):  Started in 37 games as the platoon third baseman-catcher for the 11-27 Raiders… hit .324 with a team-high 26 RBIs and tying for the team lead with 36 hits… second on the squad with 20 runs scored and 13 extra-base hits… had 10 double and a team-best tying three home runs to push her slugging percentage to .495… drew a team-high 12 walks to post a .387 on-base percentage… struck out just eight times  in 111 at-bats… stole five bases in as many attempts… made just seven errors in 149 chances in the field while throwing out seven runners in 16 stolen base attempts… did not allow a passed ball…hit safely in 20 games with 11 multiple-high games… went six for seven with seven RBIs, two home runs, a double and four runs scored to key a doubleheader sweep of Baruch (4/29/11)… went three for four with an RBI and scored twice in 6-5 loss to Richard Stockton (4/30/11)… went four for seven with two doubles and a pair of RBIs in a doubleheader loss to Ramapo (4/22/11)… went three for eight and scored twice in an NJAC doubleheader sweep of New Jersey City (4/9/11)… blasted a solo homer, walked and scored in a 7-6 loss to Kean (4/6/11)… opened the season by going two for three with a double, a walk, two RBIs, a stolen base and two runs scored in an 11-2 win over Marian (3/13/11).

FRESHMAN (2010): Second on the squad with 18 RBIs while posting a .430 slugging percentage… started in 37 games at catcher, third base or designated player while playing in all 38 contests… tied for team with 22 runs scored… drew a 14 walks to push her on-base percentage to .379… paced the squad with five stolen bases in as many tries… batted .290 with 31 hits… posted 10 extra-base hits with seven doubles, a triple and two home runs… hit safely in 26 games with five multiple-hit efforts… began her collegiate career with a solo home run in a 4-3 extra-inning win over St. Francis IL (3/13)… went three for four with an RBI and three runs in an 11-4 win over Wells College (3/27)… had two RBIs, three walks, two stolen bases and two runs in a 6-4 win over New Jersey City (4/18)… slapped a 2-run homer in a 6-5 loss to Skidmore (3/14)… had at least one hit in each game of a doubleheader nine times.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner and a Honorable Mention All-Iron Hills Conference player at Parsippany Hills HS.

SUMMER LEAGUE: Played for the Cobras and Jersey Girls before playing for the Intensity team in 2009.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in psychology at Rutgers-Newark… daughter of Paula and Tony Liotto… chose R-N because of the academic reputation and head softball coach Patty Clarke… her biggest thrill is sports in throwing out runners attempting to steal second… lists her father as the biggest influence in her life.
