PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Feb. 29, 2012)
SENIOR (2013): Appeared in 35 games with 33 starting assignments as the leftfielder… hit .160 with 12 hits, six RBIs and five runs scored… finished with a .160 slugging percentage… walked five times to finish with a .213 on base percentage… went one for two with one RBI and a run scored in a 6-5 win over St. Elizabeth (4/25/13)… went two for two with two RBIs in a 13-1 win over St. Elizabeth (4/25/13).
JUNIOR (2012): Started in 38 of 39 games as the leftfielder for the 16-23 Raiders while seeing action in every game… hit .245 with 24 hits, 19 runs scored, three doubles and a triple to go along with nine RBIs… registered a slugging percentage of .296 while drawing seven walks for a .295 on-base percentage… made just two errors in 38 chances in the field while throwing out base runners four times… hit safely in 18 games while collected a pair of hits six times… swiped two bases in as many tries and dropped down three sacrifice bunts… her seventh-inning, 2-out, 2-on diving catch of a fly ball down the leftfield line secured a 4-3 win over Wesleyan (3/15/12)… helped key a doubleheader sweep of St. Elizabeth (4/12/12) by going a combined three for six with three runs, an RBI, a triple and a double… went two for four in a 7-1 win over Ramapo (4/21/12)… collected three RBIs on three hits while scoring twice in a doubleheader sweep of Baruch (4/26/12)… capped season by going two for two and scoring twice in a 10-5 loss to Richard Stockton (4/28/12).
SOPHOMORE (2011): Started in 35 of 37 games played as the regular leftfielder for the 11-27 Raiders… hit .244 with 22 hits, 12 RBIs and nine runs scored… collected four doubles to up her slugging percentage to .289… drew six walks to finish with a .292 on-base percentage… made six errors in 29 fielding chances… hit safely in 16 games, getting multiple hits five times… had a 2-run double and scored a run in a 10-6 win over FDU-Florham (4/7/11) after getting two hits in the first game of the doubleheader… went three for four with an RBI and a run scored in a 6-4 win over Lakeland (3/16/11)… went two for four with a pair of RBIs in a 13-7 loss to Denison (3/17/11)… keyed a decisive 4-run fifth inning with a 2-run double in a 6-3 win over New Jersey City (4/9/11).
FRESHMAN (2010): Started in the outfield in 36 games, hitting .289 with 13 RBIs… drew a team-high 16 walks to post a .389 on-base percentage... had three doubles and two triples to give her a .361 slugging percentage… committed just two errors to finish with a team-best .961 field percentage… hit safely in 22 games with five multiple-hit games… went three for four with a triple, two RBIs and two runs in an 11-4 win over Old Westbury (4/13)… had a double in each game of a split with Brooklyn College (4/5), going three for five with three runs, two RBIs and two walks… ripped a bases-loaded triple in a 4-3 extra-inning loss to TCNJ (4/10).
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinners for St. Joseph H.S. teams that claimed two South Jersey titles, three Parochial Conference championships and three division banners… the Wildcats posts records of 27-4 in her sophomore season, 26-5 in her junior year and 27-4 during her senior campaign… also participated in field hockey… member of the National Honor Society.
SUMMER LEAGUE: Played for the Mystics for a season before joining the NJ Xplosion for the past two summers.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in criminal justice at Rutgers-Newark… daughter of Jan and Robert Odell… has a younger sister, Stephanie… chose Rutgers-Newark because of the national reputation of the criminal justice department, the coaches and the people on campus… biggest thrill was being a member of the South Jersey softball championship team during her senior season… Philadelphia Phillies are her favorite team and Shane Victorino is her favorite athlete.
