Rutgers-Newark Athletics

SENIOR (2013): Went 2-9 on the top-flight singles court in dual match play while posting a record of 6-5 with doubles partner Michelle Nagamine on the No. 2 court... dropped a pair of matches at the NJAIAW Championships for an overall singles mark of 2-11.

JUNIOR (2012): Notched a 6-6 record on the No. 2 singles court and went 6-5 on the No. 2 doubles court... teamed with junior Michelle Nagamine for 10 of her doubles matches and picked up a win with sophomore Maggie Tchorzewska against John Jay (9/27/12) in the other contest.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Went 4-4 in singles plays and 4-3 in doubles for the 6-6 Scarlet Raiders… went 1-1 in NJAIAW Championship Tournament… posted NJAC singles victories against William Paterson (9/27/11) and Kean (10/13/11) but Raiders fell 5-4 in each match.

FRESHMAN (2010): Regular on the No. 5 singles court and the No. 3 doubles court for the 5-5 Raiders… went 2-5 in singles play with wins to help team victories against John Jay (9/7) and William Paterson (9/22)… went 3-4 in doubles… teamed with senior Sara Ferreira to win two of her final three matches of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters at Evergreen Valley HS… named Cougars’ most improved player as a senior… honor roll student.

PERSONAL: daughter of Premila and Kumar… has a younger sister (Vidhya)… plans to major in biology at R-N.
