SOPHOMORE (2013): Appeared in 20 games with eight starting assignments… walked five times to post a .382 on-base percentage.

FRESHMAN (2012): Appeared in 18 games for the 16-23 Raiders… earned seven starts in the outfield and one as the designated player… batted .233 with a double among her five hits plus five RBIs… capped the season with a 2-run single in a 10-5 loss to Richard Stockton (4/28/12)… had a pinch-hit RBI double to cap a 5-run third inning for the Raiders in a 10-9 win over Baruch (4/26/12).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played on two state championship squads and four Hudson County title teams at High Tech HS… senior captain for the Lasercats who compiled an overall record of 86-16 during her four seasons while claiming state titles in 2008 and 2009… participated in basketball as a freshman.

PERSONAL:  Transferred to R-N in the fall of 2011 after a year at St. John’s University where she did not compete in intercollegiate athletics… majoring in criminal justice at R-N… daughter of Carmen Ortiz and Raul Arroyo… has three sisters (Jiovany, Tiffany and Alexis).
