Caitlyn Seamster

Seamster joins the Scarlet Raiders from Susquehanna University where she was an assistant coach for the 2019 season. During her time with the River Hawks, she helped helm the team to the Landmark Conference Championship game and a 20-17 season.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to rejoin the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC), this time as a head coach. I've been a graduate assistant and an assistant coach and I believe this was the natural next step for me in my career and I want to thank Athletic Director Mark Griffin for giving me this opportunity to join the Scarlet Raider family."

Mark Griffin, Director of Athletics & Recreation, added: "Caitlyn brings the knowledge of a successful program from her time spent at the College of New Jersey and her previous stops at St. Lawrence and Susquehanna. We're thrilled to have Caitlyn as part of our staff and look forward to her building off past success and make strides towards becoming an NJAC champion."

From 2016-2018 Seamster was the graduate assistant coach for St. Lawrence where her team compiled a record of 49-49. Her primary duties involved working with the outfielders, catchers, and hitters.

"My expectations this season is for our women to compete on and off of the field and have a great experience. I hope to help these young women grow into strong powerful women that will compete in the classroom and eventually in the workforce as well as on the diamond," said Seamster.

During Seamster's junior season, she helped lead the team to their first 30+ win season since 2000 and made it into the NCAA Regional Round.

Seamster commented on her style of coaching: "I'm going to bring a lot of energy to the team and help to improve hitting across the board as well as the intricacies that come along in any given game."
