Joining Jackie Davis’ staff this year is Jersey City native Meave Connelly.  Meave joins as an Assistant Coach working primarily with outfielders and catchers. 

Connelly, who became Hudson County Prep’s softball head coach in 2010, has coached all levels of softball throughout Hudson County.  She was a three-sport standout at Academic High School in Jersey City, lettering four times in softball and three times each in volleyball and swimming.  She was a Laut Honors Scholar and played her college softball at Wheeling Jesuit University where they earned a berth in the NAIA National Tournament.  

The Cranford resident earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing in 1988 from Wheeling Jesuit before adding a Master's in Business Administration from St. Peter’s University in 1998.
