Toniann Donde

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Toniann Donde is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Rutgers University-Newark softball program.

Donde was a two-year star for the Scarlet Raiders after transferring to the Brick City from Baruch College in the fall of 2013.
She was a two-time All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) performer - earning second-team honors in both 2014 and 2015. Donde started 38-of-38 games for the Scarlet Raiders as a senior, hitting .348 as one of just two veterans on a team that set a program mark for conference victories.
Donde was a big power threat throughout her career in Scarlet and Black, tallying 30 extra-base hits (82 hits overall). She drove in 43 runs, eclipsing 40 knocks in each of her two R-N seasons, scoring 28 tallies as a senior and stealing five bases as a junior.
The Shirley, N.Y. native had an excellent two-year stint at Baruch as well, receiving All-CUNYAC honors in each of her campaigns for the Bearcats, giving her four all-league accolades in four collegiate seasons.

Donde will assist Head Softball Coach Kristen Hunt with all aspects of the program.
