SOPHOMORE (2019)
Started all 37 games she played in... Was second on the team with a .322 batting avg... Increased her RBI for the year prior to 17... Scored 18 runs with an .840 OPS... Led the team with three triples and recorded a team-best 39 hits... She struck out just two times in 121 at bats... Once again led the team in assists with 67 and finished third with 131 catches...     

FRESHMAN (2018)
Started in 36 of the 37 games played in... Accumulated 41 hits on 116 at bats for a .353 batting avg., fourth best on the team... Drove in 11 runs, while scoring 33 runs... Finished the year with a .918 OPS... Added eight doubles and three triples which finished best on the team... Tallied 162 catches, good for second on the team and recorded 79 assists which was the highest on the team...

PERSONAL
Arute chose Rutgers University-Newark because the business school is so well-known as well as the inviting environment and great athletics program... Hobbies include working out, and going to the beach... Her favorite movie is Just go With it... Penne Carbonara is listed as her favorite food... J.D. Martinez is her favorite athlete... Two-time Dean's List Recipient Spring 2019 and Spring 2020... Wants to be remembered for being a hard-working team member who helps motivate her teammates succeed both on and off of the field...
