Personal: Kalyna Figol is majoring in Marketing, calls Wallington her hometown and attended Bergen Tech for high school. Standing at 5'9", she specializes in playing outfield for the softball team. Outside of sports, Kalyna enjoys activities like snowboarding, pickleball, and volleyball. Her favorite movie is "The Breakfast Club," and she has a taste for stuffed cabbage, with track and field athlete Tara Davis as her favorite athlete. Kalyna chose Rutgers University-Newark because it felt like the right fit and offered the most opportunities. Her mother, Olga Figol, played volleyball at Rutgers Newark, and her brother Orest Figol played lacrosse in college. Once she graduates, Kalyna hopes to be remembered by her coaches and teammates for her dependability, straightforwardness, and hardworking nature. She is not currently affiliated with any club team, focusing solely on her collegiate softball career.
