Rutgers-Newark Athletics

SENIOR (2014): Saw action in 23 games with 14 starting assignments in the outfield for the 12-26 Scarlet Raiders… hit an even .300 with nine hits and three RBIs… drew two walks to finish with a .344 on-base percentage… dropped down three sacrifice bunts… stole two bases in three attempts… posted a .833 fielding percentage… hit safely in seven games… went two for three with three RBIs and two runs scored in a 17-0 win over Cedar Crest (4/14/14)… capped her career by going three for six with hits in each game of a season-ending doubleheader loss to Rutgers-Camden (4/26/14).

JUNIOR (2013): Appeared in 29 games with 21 starting assignments… hit .239 with 11 hits, eight runs and three RBI… stroked five doubles to finish with a .348 slugging percentage… walked twice to post a .271 on base percentage…went one for three with one double and A run scored 1-4 loss over Montclair (4/04/13)…went two for two with two RBIS, and two doubles win 2-0 against Ramapo (4/16/13).

SOPHOMORE (2012): Started in 20 of the 27 games in which she appeared for the 16-23 Raiders… earned Coaches Award for unselfish dedication to the team… hit .206 with five hits, five runs scored and a pair of RBIs… stole three bases while getting caught just once… had an RBI single in a 7-4 win over Fitchburg State (3/12/12)… notched an RBI single in a 9-1 win over St. Elizabeth (4/12/12)… went two for two and scored twice in a 14-3 win over Mount St. Vincent (3/21/12).

FRESHMAN (2011):  Played in 17 games, getting six starting assignments in the outfield… hit .143 with two hits, an RBI and six runs scored… walked twice to post a .250 on-base percentage… no errors in five chances in the field… went two for two with a sacrifice bunt and scored a run in an 11-3 win over Baruch (4/29/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport letterwinner at Dumont HS who helped senior softball squad to a 12-8 record… also participated in varsity volleyball and basketball for the Huskies… earned most courageous female athlete award and team spirit award in softball… National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member.

PERSONAL: Undecided on major field of study at R-N… daughter of Francine and Eugene Zaggia… has a younger brother (Chris).
