Danielle Brown

Danielle Brown is in her first season as a member of the Rutgers University-Newark women's basketball coaching staff.

Brown won three New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) titles as a member of the Kean University women's basketball team, serving as a team captain in 2009-10. An All-NJAC performer, Brown was a part of 106 victories over the course of her career, earning all-conference honors as a senior. She graduated from Kean with a 3.5 grade-point average and has a wealth of coaching experience.
 
Most recently, Brown was the head coach at Rahway High School, leading her teams to the deepest postseason runs since 2001. She helped her squad to a conference title in 2015-16 and six-straight state tournament appearances.
 
Brown serves as an assistant coach with the Bishop Ahr track program in Edison, N.J., while assisting the KJ Basketball 15U AAU program as well. Additionally, the Kean alum has worked Elite Camps at Yale University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
 
Coach Cieplicki on Brown: Danielle was a really great player at Kean and has been a consistently successful high school coach in New Jersey. She is going to be a resource and asset for our coaches and players alike.
