Rutgers-Newark Athletics

New Jersey native Kevin Scola brings a competitive background to his position of assistant cross country and track & field coach at Rutgers-Newark.

The Collingswood resident helped High Point University to three consecutive Big South Conference men’s cross country championships (2002-2004) while participating in cross country and track at the North Carolina school.

Scola earned his bachelor of science in sports management from High Point in 2006.

He was a four-year participant in cross country, track and basketball at Collingswood High School.

He helped Collingswood to a South Jersey Group II runner-up finish and a 22-5 record in boys’ basketball in 2007 as an assistant coach.
