Lala – a Riverdale, N.J. native – was a teammate of Coach Cieplicki's at Rowan University. Professionally, Lala is a Health and Physical Education teacher in Wayne, N.J., also coaching high school basketball and volleyball for the last five years.
In addition to playing basketball collegiately, she also competed in track & field for the Profs. On the hardwood, she appeared in 72 games over three seasons, shooting better than 40 percent overall and averaging 11.2 points and 5.9 rebounds as a senior.
Lala has two post-graduate degrees; one in Educational Leadership and another in Curriculum and Instruction.
Coach Cieplicki on Lala: It's nice to be able to surround yourself with people you have played with. Michelle is going to bring a great energy and spark to our program, and I am excited to have her on board.
