Sondra Parin joins the women's basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2018-19 season.
Parin has accumulated a series of coaching positions at various levels over the last seven years. From 2011 to 2017, she served as the head coach for the girls’ Clark Travel team while also picking up roles as the assistant coach at Johnson High School in Clark from 2013-15, the head coach of Team Sharp AAU from 2013-16, the head coach of Morristown-Beard Middle School from 2016-17, and finally the head coach of Team Miller AAU beginning in 2018.
With each team Parin has created and directed structured, skill-driven practices with an emphasis on teamwork and discipline while continuously motivating and encouraging players to work hard with positive reinforcement and constructive criticism as well as keeping players accountable and on track with weekly goals.
“Sondra has an excellent basketball mind that will fit right in with our coaching style.” said Head Coach Ashley Cieplicki, “I’m really happy we were able to bring her into the program this season!”
