JUNIOR (2013-14): All-NJAC first team… All-ECAC Metro first team… NJAC Player of the Week for the fourth week of the season… Coaches Award winner for unselfish dedication to the team... started in each of the 24 games in which she played for the 10-15 Scarlet Raiders… averaged 14.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.6 steals while totaling 23 blocked shots and 20 assists… connected on 45.9% (140-305) of her shots from the floor… made 58.2% (64-110) of her free throws… notched 11 double-doubles… scored in double figures 20 times while going over 20 five times… reached double digits in rebounding 11 times… had 17 games with multiple steals while making two or more blocks on eight occasions… ranked the top 10 among NJAC players in five categories (fourth in scoring, third in rebounding, sixth in field goal percentage and steals, and 10th in blocked shots)… was named to the Randolph-Macon Tip-Off All-Tournament team after poured in a career-high 25 points to go along with 11 rebounds, two steals and an assist in a 92-70 loss to Randolph-Macon (11/16/13)… made 12 of 16 shots from the floor to finish with 24 points, 13 rebounds and a steal in a 70-60 win over William Paterson (12/7/13)… netted 23 points with 16 rebounds, two blocked shots and two assists in a 60-44 win over New Jersey City (1/29/14)… went nine of 16 from the field and four of five from the free throw line to finish with 22 points, 13 rebounds, six steals, two assists and a blocked shot in a 66-50 win over Rowan (2/15/14)… capped the season with 21 points, 14 rebounds and three steals in a 73-64 loss at Kean (2/19/14)… hauled down a season-high 17 rebounds while adding 14 points, two steals and two assists in a 65-64 loss to Ramapo (1/8/14)… totaled 16 rebounds, 15 points, two blocked shots, an assist and a steal in a 65-51 win at New Jersey City (11/26/13)… posted 16 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots in a 70-68 loss to Montclair State (12/4/13)… equaled her career high with seven steals to go along with 16 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots in a 60-44 win over Marymount (12/30/13).
SOPHOMORE (2012-2013): First team All-NJAC…started in every game for the 19-10 Scarlet Raiders who reached the semifinals of the NJAC and ECAC Metro tournaments… leading scorer (11.2) and rebounder (8.0)… netted double digits in points 19 times with six double-doubles… piled up 16 blocked shots… snared double digit rebounds in seven games… scored 16 points in a 67-48 win against Mount Saint Mary (11/26/12)… scored 20 points with two assists and a pair of blocked shots in a 67-62 win over New Jersey City (11/28/12)… hauled down 17 rebounds in a 57-52 victory at Ramapo (12/12/12)… totaled 14 rebounds and five steals in a 63-43 win over Ramapo (2/06/13)… scored 16 points and came up with five steals in a 65-45 win against Rowan (1/12/13)… scored 18 points in a 56-55 victory at Brooklyn College (1/14/13)… scored 17 points with seven steals in a 72-51 win at Rutgers-Camden (1/16/13)… scored 19 points in a 69-64 loss to Hartwick College (3/02/13) in the ECAC Metro semifinals.
PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Jan. 1, 2013)
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Started in 23 games for the 20-9 Scarlet Raiders who reached the NJAC semifinals and the ECAC Metro Championship game… was third in scoring average (7.8) and second in rebounding average (6.7) with piling up 26 blocked shots… netted double digits in points eight times with one double-double… snared nine rebounds in a game six times… grabbed at least one rebound in every game and failed to score just once… MVP of the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic… blocked five shots, scored 13 points, collected nine rebounds and came up with three steals in 49-42 win over King’s College (11/19/11) in the John K. Adams title game… hit nine of 17 shots from the floor on her way to a career-highs 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-45 win at Hunter (12/13/11)… netted 16 points in a 75-71 overtime loss to William Paterson (2/8/12)… had a 15-point, 8-rebound game in a 58-51 loss at Montclair State (2/4/12)… notched 11 points and hauled down nine rebounds in a 65-49 win over Lehman (11/18/11)… blocked four shots while adding nine points and eight rebounds in a 59-54 loss at William Paterson (1/11/12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in basketball at St. Joseph’s HS in Hammonton, posting 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds… Wildcats went to the playoffs each season with her junior team (2009-10) finishing 21-6… two-sport standout, earning first team All-Courier Post honors in outdoor track & field.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in criminal justice with hopes of joining the FBI or DEA upon graduation…chose R-N because of the academic reputation… daughter of Dawn Howard… has two younger sisters (Gianna and Jordyn Barr)… born in Philadelphia, PA.
