JUNIOR (2021-22)
Horton played in 19 games and started 14 of them for the Scarlet Raiders and averaged a team-high 33.1 minutes per game... Horton was also the only Scarlet Raider to average more than 10 points per game as her tally of 17 was also a team-high... Horton scored a career-high 36 points against Kean in which she shot 15-for-35 from the field and pulled down six rebounds... For the season, Horton averaged 39.9% shooting from the field and 25.2% shooting from behind the arc... Horton's quick hands allowed her to lead the team in steals with 3.3 per contest...
SOPHOMORE (2020-21)
In the shortened COVID season Horton led the team with 16.1 points per game and 33.4 minutes per game... Horton's most prolific scoring game came at the start of the season where she tallied 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting while grabbing seven rebounds... She shot 39.6% from the floor and 39% from three-point range and finished second on the team with 5.3 rebounds per game...
FRESHMAN (2019-20)
As a freshman, appeared in 25 contests and registered one start... Averaged 5.3 points while registering 14.6 minutes per game... Tallied 17 steals and handed out 13 assists in her first year... Shot 36.8% from the floor and 28.3% from long range while having the highest free-throw percentage on the team with 73.7%...
PERSONAL
Horton, a Health Sciences major, chose Rutgers University-Newark because she wanted to still be able to further her academic and athletic career while still being close to home. She knew Rutgers-Newark was the perfect place for me after the first visit. Coach Ash and the assistant coaches treated her like their own, and now they're family forever. Hobbies include shopping and working out... Love & Basketball is her favorite movie... Pizza is her favorite food... Kobe Bryant is her favorite athlete... She wants her teammates to remember her for being a great teammate and a sharp shooter...
