Joseph's professional journey has primarily been in the field of education, where he has served as a Social Studies Educator specializing in Psychology and Sociology at Lacey Twp. High School since 2003. In this capacity, he has honed his skills in communication, leadership, and mentoring, which are highly transferable to a coaching role.

His coaching experience is impressive, particularly in soccer, with various roles at Lacey Twp. High School, Drew University, and Ramapo College of New Jersey. His achievements as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Lacey Twp. High School include accolades such as being named Atlantic City Press Coach of the Year in 2011, leading his team to B-South Champions in 2011, and guiding them to the NJSIAA Group III State Semi-finals in 2010-2011. Joseph was also recognized as the All Shore Media A-South Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2013.

He has further expanded his coaching repertoire through roles at Drew University and Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he contributed to training sessions, scouting, and recruiting efforts.

Joseph's experience extends beyond the high school and collegiate levels into the realm of youth soccer. He has been involved with the Players Development Academy (PDA), coaching various girls' and boys' teams from 2004 to 2019, and serving as Camp Coordinator and Instructor for PDA camps during this time. Additionally, he has been a Professional Trainer at Stafford Soccer Club and Mullica Soccer Club from 2014 to 2016.

Joseph has also been engaged in college camp experiences at Monmouth University, Georgian Court University, Villanova University, Johns Hopkins, and Exact Soccer College ID Clinic, contributing to the development of young soccer talent.

With a rich background in education and an extensive coaching portfolio, Joseph D'Arcangelo is poised to make a meaningful impact as an assistant coach at Rutgers University-Newark, bringing his expertise in operations, recruiting, session planning, and game day responsibilities to support Coach Guagliardi and the staff.
