Rutgers-Newark Athletics

Juliano Mendes is in his first season as a member of the Rutgers University-Newark women's soccer coaching staff. He will primarily work with the Scarlet Raider goalkeepers.

Mendes is the owner and lead trainer at One GK Training based in Kearny, N.J. He has an extensive background playing and coaching in both Brazil and the United States, and he is a certified NSCAA Goalkeepers coach.
 
He was the 2011 Goalkeeper of the Year at Bergen County Community College, and spent eight seasons (2000-2008), playing professionally in Brazil’s second division.
