PERSONAL: Haghighi chose Rutgers University Newark in her pursuit of "the best or nothing"... Her father, Babak Haghighi, also played soccer... She earned several honors in high school, including the Science Honors Society, 4x200m school record, and the North Jersey Non-Public A SEC State Soccer MVP... Her favorite movie is White Chicks, her favorite food is steak, and her favorite athletes are Mia Hamm, Muhammad Ali, and Diego Maradona...
