Rutgers-Newark Athletics

FRESHMAN (2014): Started in the final 23 matches of the season for the 14-8-2 Scarlet Raiders who set program records for victories and best NJAC finish (4-4-1) while gaining the programs’ first NJAC Championship Tournament berth… helped Raiders post first ever post-season wins on their way to the ECAC Metro/Upstate Championship title match… named NJAC Rookie of the Week (10/5/14)… helped the Raider defense post seven shutouts while yielding only 39 goals and 288 shots… finished with seven points on a goal and five assists… put eight of her 15 shots on goal (53.3%)… netted the game-winning goal in a 3-0 decision over New Jersey City (10/4/14)… notched a pair of assists in an 8-0 win over the Lehman (11/12/14) in the ECAC Metro/Upstate Championship opening round.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Metuchen HS in soccer, basketball and track & field… team MVP, Central Jersey Top 20, All-Blue Division and all-conference first team in soccer… helped Bulldogs to three consecutive Blue Division titles and three 20-win seasons… three-year letterwinner in basketball who also lettered in track and field as a freshman.
 
PERSONAL: Joins her older sister Sara, a junior transfer from Rutgers University, on the Scarlet Raider squad… plans to major in business… daughter of Margaret and Matthew Corson.
