Alexander joins the staff as an assistant men's basketball coach after playing for the Scarlet Raiders for four seasons.
During his tenure at Rutgers University-Newark he led the team in his junior season in rebounding with a 7.0 average… averaged 5.1 points and 20.4 minutes a game while starting in six of the 25 games in which he played… put together four straight double-digit rebounding efforts highlighted by an incredible 19-rebounds , 12-point night in a 70-56 win at Medgar Evers (12/12/06)… also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in an NJAC tournament semifinal loss at New Jersey City (2/21/07)… finished the season with eight double-digit rebounding games, including 11 rebounds each against Farmingdale State (12/14/06), Rowan (1/29/07) and New York University (3/2/07).
