Rutgers-Newark Athletics

Susan McKee was named the Universities athletics Business Specialist in August 2016. A long time Rutgers University-Newark staffer, McKee had been serving in the Information Technology department for five years before making the shift to the athletics department. 

As the Business Specialist, McKee will oversee principal responsibilities of finance and business operations within the Athletics Department. Her duties also include long and short-range budget forecasting, team budget management, billing, payroll, and event planning. Once becoming the Business Specialist McKee’s role expanded further by becoming the Human Resources Liaison for the Athletic Department. 

Before her time in the Athletics Department, she served as the Administrative Assistant in the Information Technology Department at Rutgers University-Newark. There she created contracts and schedules for the department while also dispatching technicians. She also helped with troubleshooting calls and ordering for the entire division. 

A South River, NJ native, McKee graduated from Middlesex County College with an Associates of Science degree.
