Everyone played and everyone scored for the Scarlet Raiders (19-5, NJAC 8-4) who were led by senior guard Sabrina Sanchez with nine points. The Roadrunners (4-19, NJAC 0-11) remained winless in the conference with just two games remaining.
Rutgers-Newark is now just one win away from tying the 1985-86 women's basketball team for the most victories in a season. The Raiders were 20-2 under Nancy Miraldi that season.
Senior reserve forward Toni Roselli hit two of five shots from beyond the arc on her way to eight points while senior forward Eni Fageyinbo had a game-high eight rebounds to go along with six points, two steals and two assists.
