NEWARK, NJ – Rutgers-Newark got the tying goal with 44 seconds left in regulation on its way to a 2-1 overtime New Jersey Athletic Conference victory over Ramapo College on Alumni Field.

Rutgers-Newark took seven of its nine corner kicks in the opening period, but had few solid chances to score. For the night, the Raiders forged a 9-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Raiders (6-3-0, NJAC 1-1-0) snapped two-game losing streak while snapping a 2-0-1 run by the Roadrunners (5-2-1, NJAC 1-1-0).
