The Scarlet Raiders (5-2-0, NJAC 1-0-0) survived a 12-4 deficit in shots during the second period as the Scarlet Raptors out-shot the visitors, 18-11, for the match while piling up a 12-3 edge in corner kicks.

Diego Moraes in the 23rd minute for all the only point that Rutgers-Newark would need.
Broomall had six of his saves in the second period at Rutgers-Camden Community Park.
Rutgers-Newark hosts Kean in an NJAC match at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
