Sydney Tuman paced Rutgers University-Newark with eight kills while adding 10 digs, but Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts downed the Scarlet Raiders, 3-0, in the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational. Game scores were 25-17, 25-22, 25-21 as the Raiders slipped to 16-10 overall while the Trailblazers improved to 14-11.

Freshman setter Rebecca Godbout led the Trailblazers with 23 assists, six kills, two aces, a solo block, a blocking assist and eight digs. Middle hitters Samantha Anderson and Margaret Allen each notched six kills and a solo block for MCLA.
Rutgers-Newark plays its regular-season finale at William Paterson on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with the last of six New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament berths going to the winner.
